Hello everyone, is there any general recommendations or info from people with insulin problems (diabetes, Hypoglycemia, Hyperinsulinimia) to add to the general guidelines? i was diagnosed with Hyperinsulinimia a month ago and have undergone a general change in eating habits as advised by a physician (minimize carbs, minimize sugar consumption when inevitable, taking meds, switching sugar for fructose, up cardio exercising) but in general i have no idea how to fit this with a healthy weight loss program, i saw no stickies or consolidated info on the subject, is there any people here with a similar background that can provide some insight into this process? thanks for the help.

I follow a no white sugar/no white flour diet for the most part. Get your sugars from natural fruits. It's pretty simple. Switch to whole grain bread. Eat fruit through the day a snack. Banana, orange, grapefruit are good sugar sources.
