Moving from wet food to dry food

I have come to realise that for me a big change was to move from generally wet foods to dry ones
Don't laugh ... or at least not until I have explained.
I love gravy, sauces from bernanise to zabaglione, stews, curry, ragu, cheese sauce, cream, caramel sauce....you name it I loved it
Every single one doubled the calories in any meal now I eat much more 'dry' food, plain grilled or roasted meat/poulty simple steamed veg...
See Dry food!!! LOL
Did anyone else find a food 'trend' like this

Absolutely! I'm a dips and sauce person too...I don't give them up though. I've found low calorie alternatives. low cal chip crackers with salsa or low fat artichoke and asiago dip, baby carrots with hummu, apple slices with peanut butter, low cal prepared gravy with chicken, low fat cream cheese, etc etc.
I don't eliminate anything and try to fit them in my daily calorie intake. if I don't eat foods I enjoy then I won't stay on track by making this a lifestyle.0
