Does anybody have any good ideas for strength training and weight lifting. I currently do curves but I want to do more. I currently walk to curves . and also use the elipticalin the winter. Thanks Kim

I do the New Rules of Lifting for Women and so far it's been good for me. There is a big group just for that program on MFP. You could always check it out (NROL4W). It requires weights (barbell, dumbbells) and exercise ball (though you can work around it).
It's a great book to read, too. I bought it in both digital and hardback form.
Another decent program is "Your Body is Your Own Gym" by Mark Lauren (there is a group here for that too). It is for body weight strength training exercises and is pretty good. No special equipment is needed except for things you can find around your house. There's even a great app for it if you have a smartphone.
I borrowed a digital copy from the library to read that. It was a pretty good read, too.0 -
Thanks everyone I will be doing a lot of research. Kim0
