Protein Chai Tea
Found this online. Super yummy. It really helps me get through the morning!
Protein Hot Chai Mix
6 scoops vanilla protein powder
1.5 cups non-fat powdered milk
3/4 cup instant unsweet tea mix
3/4 cup no calorie sweetner
1T. chai spice mix (or use half cinnamon and half ground ginger)
1t. ground cloves
1t. cardamon (original recipe calls for this, but I didn't have any, so used nutmeg instead)
Mix all dry ingredients in bowl until well blended. Add 1/2 cup of mixture to mug and add about 1 oz. of hot water-- stir to create smooth paste (so you don't get lumpy protein powder). Add 7 more oz hot water and mix well. You can top with fat free Redi Whip if you want.
Recipe makes about 10 half-cup servings. I add 2tbsp. of the sugar free french vanilla Internation Delight refridgerated creamer to make it a little sweeter and richer. Calculation below is without the creamer or redi whip. Your nutrition info may be different depending on the cals/protein etc. in your brand of protein powder.

Carbs: 9g (mostly from the powdered milk)
