Workout Breakfast

Hello! I am relatively new to my lifestyle and I have a question. I have been working on eating more healthfully and mindfully and now I want to add in exercise, too. I want to do a 30 minute walk outside every weekday morning on my relatively hilly campus. I eat 2 eggs and a slice of whole wheat toast from breakfast every morning (literally my favorite meal ever).

Should I eat before I walk or after? Or does it matter at all?

  • Personally, I would eat after -- I'm always ravenous after going for a walk/run, so I'd eat again. Also, you might find going up those hills a little uncomfortable on a full belly.
