Hi From NY

I'm 49 and about 80lbs overweight. I've been lucky so far that my blood pressure and cholesterol and fasting sugar numbers have been good. What I am experencing is a lot of pain in my knees. I need to lose this weight to get healthy and avoid knee sugery. I would love to meet people to share the weight loss experience with. (The good and the bad LOL). This is my second time joining MFP. I just got a smartphone. Now that I have access to the internet it will be easier for me to keep track when I'm out and about.

    My goal is 84lbs and i'm about 14lbs into it. The phone is an excellent way to keep logging i'd be lost without mine now.

    You have made the right step in joining MFP. It's the perfect place to be accountable and get motivated!
    Remember to take baby steps even if it means taking it day by day or meal by meal - you can do this!
