Any recent Aha! Moments you want to share?

I've had two in the last 18 hours!

1. I feel awful and I knew I was having some sort of pre-canned, processed soup last night for dinner. Got home, chose from my pantry a light Progresso and looked at the nutrients...booo! So I added some steamed broccoli to the soup. Of course, I could have added others but the broccoli was there and all I had to do was a 3 minute steam in the micro and throw it into the soup and viola, added fiber, nutrients and veggies to my soup with minimal effort and time so I could get into my bed that much quicker! Plus I added an extra veggie to what would have been a "veggie Light" meal.

2. I make my coffe at home most mornings. This morning for whatever reason, I realized, I could make my coffe better. And it wasn't by adding tons of flavored creamer or sugar. I added one scoop of protein powder to the mug prior to hitting start on the keurig. When my cup of joe was ready, I had 23 grams of protein already added in....way to start my protein packed day!

Anybody else find simple ways to sneak in protein or veggies or any other quick tidbits lately? I love hearing how people make this easier on themselves!

    I always have almonds, fruit, zucchini, and eggs on hand. They are my quick snacks when I get the urge to snack. I also use peanut flour in my oatmeal, shakes, and cheerios.

    I like to add veggies and chicken to my quinoa. Cook the quinoa and throw the veggies and chicken in the skillet w/a little bit of coconut oil.

    I also eat almond butter every.single.day! Even right out of the jar!

    Well, my aha moment came this afternoon when I finally completed 4miles of walking/ jogging!:smile:
