Well I eat 5-6 dozen a week and I just had my blood results printed from the lab. All systems optimal.

I used to drink 4-6 per day raw for YEARS on end.

I eat 2-3 daily for breakfast. Cholesterol stays between 114 and 130. If you are exercising and eating healthy (and as long as you don't have any kind of health related issues with chicken/eggs) then 2-3 eggs a day should be fine. Don't want all the fat, eat only the egg whites.

I eat at least 4 eggs a day, not everyday, but very often.

I eat 4 large egg whites pretty much everyday; I don't care for egg yolk unless it's in a nice, fluffy scrambled egg with a lot of milk. I prefer to save my cals for other things. I've never heard of eggs being bad to eat everyday; just like anything else, you have to watch the macros.

You would be puking eggs and praying for death before you could eat the maximum "allowable amount"

I eat 21 per week (3 per day)

Nothing related to eggs... Dude I love your picture, it's so extra-ordinary. Is that actually a puppet of yourself?!

    42.

    42 is always the answer.

(honestly, though, you could eat eggs all day every day, and still be fine as long as they were part of a healthy diet.)

Saturated fat will raise your cholesterol levels more than something high in cholesterol.

Two eggs per day are fine, as long as your cholesterol is in the "normal" range. This is what my doctor has told me.

    My n=1
I eat anywhere from 3-6 whole eggs per day. I just had labs done last month and they all came back perfect.
  • Im confused about how many eggs are okay to eat in a week? I have a friend who eats 2 a day EVERY DAY and her trainer says thats okay. I thought it raised your cholesterol? Any thoughts?

According to my doc, diet is maybe 20% of what determines your cholesterol.

This. Since the human body produces its own cholesterol, regardless of diet, genetics are actually the single biggest factor. If you have a family history of high cholesterol and are concerned, you could always have yours checked and cut back on animal based foods overall. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Eggs, especially, are very healthy.

I eat this but it doesn't matter if it fits in your macro. The reason its "considered" unhealthy is because the high amount of fat in the yolk. If you are exercising and watching your diet I wouldn't worry about it.
If you're worried about it, eat egg whites!

    Blasphemy

    Agreed!

From what I've read, the cholesterol in eggs is actually the good kind and eggs are so packed with protein and other nutrients (mostly in the yolk) that it's a win/win. I'll eat nearly 18/week and haven't had any issues with cholesterol.

Although - I just got to thinking...... (dangerous)

Egg yolks are intended to feed a fetal chicken and make it bazilliuple in weight in 21 days. Are you a fetal chicken? Maybe people aren't sposedta eat egg yolks (unless those people are a fetal chicken or want to bazilliuple in weight) ...... "food" for thought....... or whatever.
