HELP! Jillian Michaels 30DS

Hey everyone,

I'm halfway through the Jillian Michael 30 Day Shred (Level 2 Day 6) and I'm seeing that my arms are more toned and I feel stronger.
In terms of weight and measurements, I'm not seeing too much here. (It was just the Thanksgiving weekend and I tried to be as good as possible, but that may have taken me back a few notches.)

If you have done the 30DS, when did you start seeing some results for hips, waist and weight?

    I made it to Level 2, Day 5 then life just got really busy and I couldn't fit the shred in. I do my normal cardio stuff everyday and the shred was the cherry on the top.

    I don't weigh myself often, I try to do every 2 weeks to a month for weigh ins. I know I lost at least 2 inches in my waist and my hips just in the time I was die hard at it. I haven't taken arm measurments lately but will try to do that tonight to see if there is a difference.

    What I can say, is I felt so much better when doing it. I think really it was a yeah, I just kicked *kitten* kinda thing for me. And I can't wait to be able to have some more time (soccer season ends soon, darn kids!) that I can fit it in!

    What time of the day do you do yours? I was having to wait until 9 or 9:30 at night and then couldn't get to sleep until midnight! I want to try it first thing in the morning.

    In the first 10 days I lost 1.4 lbs and inches from my waist, thighs, chest, and belly. In the second 10 I lost 2.6 lbs and inches from my waist, hips, my right arm, both thighs, my chest, and belly. In the third 10 I lost 1.2 lbs and inches from my hips, both thighs, both arms, but none from my waist, chest, and added .5" to my belly. After my final week (six days) I lost .2 lbs, and inches from my waist, both arms, chest, and belly, but nothing from my hips or thighs.

    I do mine in the early afternoon or late morning. I've missed 3 days of it, forgot to mention that!

    That's funny because when I did 30DS, I lost weight on my hips, thighs and waist, but my arms, although feeling stronger and more toned, didn't lost inches as fast. I think it depends on your body shape. I'm like an inverted triangle - broad shoulders and big arms but slim legs, flat booty and small hips.

    I didn't really notice changes until around the 3rd week.

    Im on day 7 of the shred, level 1, i can see a small change when i look in the mirror, my s.o. Says he can see around my hips are slimming, and i see tone in my arms, (i use 5lb weights and taebo bar) my legs look like they are getting more muscular, I was wondering, have any of y'all tried combining the 30 day shred with the killer buns and thighs? I think i may attempt that 3 days a week. Kbt in the morning and 30ds at night. Good luck to y'all also
