Exercise calories

Do you use your calories you earn from exercising? When I did WW, I never counted my points, but I'm pretty sure I was eating more than 1200 calories/day. Not sure what to do with these.

I definitely think you should eat them back. Most people here agree.
Its tempting not to, becuase you think you'll be 'ahead of the game', but for me that means I'm hungrier and more apt to overeat later.

I plateau when I eat most of mine back, if I have say 25% I'm fine but anything over 50% doesn't work for me, but everyones different
  • When I first started I didn't eat them back and lost weight (I was exercising only 20 minutes per day really). Now I'm exercising way more, burning at least 700-900 calories in exercise each day (6-7 days a week), and eating back almost all of my calories most days. My pilates instructor told me I needed to do that because otherwise my body would "hold" onto the calories and not burn as much if it knew I wasn't getting enough. So, I upped them and am eating between 1800 and 2100 each day. But I've stopped losing weight (at least for the last two weeks). I dropped four pounds immediately within 4 days when I first started eating the calories back. I don't know if I'm hitting additional muscle now or if i've plateaued. I'm giving it one more week before changing the pattern. Any thoughts? Also - I'm a vegetarian so I focus on trying to eat more protein but that's difficult.
