Real Fitness Thoughts

Warning not so nice thoughts ahead.
Sometimes I think it's great that I have lost 70lbs but still have 90 to go. I wonder will I ever be able to get it right 100 percent of the time? Will I be able to not like certain foods period like a chicken strip or a nice glass of lemonade--the real stuff not that diet lol. When will I thirst for the gym again like I once did? Will I ever not be hungry?
I at times wish folks would have warned that losing weight is a huge process for some and others it will be a breeze. I have been at this since Jan 30,2011. It's been a year and some change and I feel like I can't quit because you have come so far but yet and still I wander will I ever get to 100lbs lost? Why didn't anyone tell me that excess skin would come. Or how when you go from a size 22/24 and now at a 14/16 that you won't have such a variety at the thrift store anymore.
Why is it I put my all into these and feel pumped but there still is a time where I feel like just getting a 2 piece and a pepper and calling it a day. This is my 3rd time on MFP. I have had to delete my last 2 profiles because I couldn't read about so much loss in weight. Like I know my one day will come and people will want to talk to me about how I did but when that one day is I don't know. I wish there was a date of when which would help me push to get to that date.
I know some here have real fitness thoughts care to share? No jerkiness though.

I think you can. I grew up loving the SAD. Pizza, fries, my mom used to make the most amazing home-made fries . I'll still have those things every now and then, but for the most part, mass quantities of hot oil smells absolutely toxic & gross to me, compared to the food I prefer now.
Took a LOT of reading and trial and error (still trialling and erroring!) to figure out which foods are filling and tastiest to me, and not calorific. Substitions, new cooking methods, experimentation, all of that.
The research I've read suggests that your body will forever want you to go back to your higher weights. It means cutting cals in a sustainable way. (I have decided I will count & measure throughout my life. Too much room for slippage. I think this is a fair trade-off, and it's not so hard with the experience I've gained - takes less mental effort, calculation, etc.)I at times wish folks would have warned that losing weight is a huge process for some and others it will be a breeze. There's a lot that surprising about the psychology of weight loss. Much of it is unresearched. Body image after weight loss is really weird. But MFP is a great resource of experience, lots of people deal with it here. Why is it I put my all into these and feel pumped but there still is a time where I feel like just getting a 2 piece and a pepper and calling it a day. I think it's helpful to shift your focus to the process itself. Invest time and attention to what it is you're doing - get totally absorbed in this squat today, this meal today - vs the end goal. And shift attention to those achievements, vs what the body looks like.0
