    dont make it a "diet" make it a life style......much easier to keep up with...hehe....I never say im on a diet, diets never last.....its a life choice ;)

    I'm new here too.
    I was on MFP about 3 years ago, lost 4 stone and have gained 1 back but I'm back and trying to lose weight.
    I'm starting Slim Fast. Add me if you like (That goes to anyone.)
    I am a bit of a cheer leader (obviously not got the body of one but I love cheering my friends on.)

    I started three days ago as well, and up until then, I thought popcorn with butter was a "food group".....

    Day 3... and 3.4 pounds lost.

    Counting calories and eating the good stuff.

    Remember why you started and take it a meal at a time.


    Some people ease up a bit on the weekends. I'm not one of them, but if that works for you, do it.

    Seeing as there seems to plenty out there who will help motivate and keep me in check when I hear the Pringles calling my name (and they do call very persistently - god damn them....) - I'll add a few peeps and see if I can do the same..

    There are no forbidden foods, If you want to eat a certain food over the weekend plan on it, how many calories can you have, what do you have to do to work it in? If you do it that way you will be in control of food vs. food being in control of you. :flowerforyou:

    Feel free to add me! it's my Sunday Splurge Day .. a day where I eat and drink whatever I feel like. It's the day I don't care .. I will still log what I eat or guesstimate what I had if I go out .. but that's more for me.. helps me stay focused the rest of the week and keep working hard!

    Hey there, foodie here as well.

    Feel free to add me but I will warn you, I am not one of these people that say Good Going or WTG at a crap diary. I do not eat and exercise to be pretty, I do it to be healthy and live for a long long time.

    Do not get me wrong, you will see cheese puffs and chocolate in my diary too, but the majority of it is pretty darn healthy.

    I also have a healthy cooking facebook page that has lots of healthy recipes and tips for a yummier lifestyle, I , for one, refuse to live a life where food tastes like cardboard.
