Thank you so much for explaining everything so well for us "newbies." I finally understand my problem, I was only taking in about 700 calories a day for the last month.

But I still have a question about how the system calculates your needed calories.

When you go to set your goals (guided) it asks you to choose one of four daily activity levels. Out of curiousity I tried each one and my calorie intake stayed exactly the same....why is that? Shouldn't it change based on my activity level?
