Lunches and Bread

I need some help! I like my granary rolls on a lunchtime. Great thing about them is that I can make them at work and then the bread doesn't go soggy, alternatively if I get stuck out of the office I can save them for the next day. Problem is they are working out at 169 calories before I add anything. So by the time I finish a sandwich is costing 300ish calories, whilst thats perfectly fine and within my allowance there are two problems;
1) Its not filling me, thereby ending up with afternoon snacking and
2) I'm getting bored of them (some people are just not easy to please!)
So the question is what else can I use for my sandwiches that will still be as flexible as the humble bread roll, but will fill me up till dinner time?
Any ideas greatly appreciated!

I would add a side item to your sandwich. Have a salad, cup of soup, baby carrots, or similar. When I make sandwiches, I use Sandwich thins (about as polar opposite as you can get from granary rolls!) and pile on the meat and veggies on the sandwich. This way I'm getting more protein to fill me, more veggies, and less bread. Add a salad or baby carrots and I've got a filling meal with fewer calories.

All great ideas. I have started taking rice, pasta or cous cous salads to work now, I love how flexible you can be with them all and how much you can have for the same calories as a roll etc. Another thing I've discovered is weightwatchers wraps, they are less than 100 cals and if you stuff them with chicken or high protein low fat meats and then have a small side salad or a tub of veg and cous cous, it will definitely fill you up. I have lunch at 1 and when Ive had that I dont feel hungry til 7 or 8pm.
