Why am I starving?

The last three days I literally cannot seem to get not starving. There have been no real changes to my exercise, or life otherwise. I literally just ate a 600 calorie lunch, and I am still not even remotely satiated.
My diary is open; what am I doing wrong?

Hmmm. Unless you're an extremely small framed/short person, 1200 calories/day maybe isn't enough. I don't know how tall you are, but I'm 5'6" and pretty miserable if I eat less than 1600/day
Also, I find protein and (healthy) fat more filling than carbs - you could change the ratios of carbs/fat/protein. A lot of people around here recommend 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat. That might help keep you feeling fuller longer. Good luck!0 -
Try eating more protein, and maybe try drinking more water with your meals? Bulk them up with veggies so your stomach feels fuller.0

Thank you!
And I am pretty small, but you might be right about switching the carbs/protein/fat ratios0 -
Eating much more protein keeps me fuller for longer.0

1200 calories isn't enough for a lot of people. How active are you (workout and job)? Also do you eat meat?0

Your diary makes me think you're a vegetarian. The suggestion to change your macros as number one is the best. I go for 35% protein, 35% carb, 30% fat, but anything with more protein than what MFP defaults to is good.
Secondly, looks like you're getting almost all of your protein from nut sources. That certainly wouldn't keep me full, but I am a big meat eater. Maybe increase your protein through egg whites at breakfast? Have you thought about a protein shake? Try to find some high protein, low fat sources (ie: not nuts). I find I am ravenous all day if I don't eat enough before lunch.
I'd also agree with the other posters that your calories seem quite low. Even if you aren't that active, you probably just need more food.0 -
Hummus doesn't have enough protein in it, so you're still hungry after lunch because you need more protein for that meal.
Yogurt for breakfast isn't enough food.
On other days I see you do get a lot of protein, are you hungry then as well? Are you drinking water?
Do you exercise? If so you need to eat more than 1200 cal a day.0 -
Stop eating crap and/or calorically dense foods. Shoot for foods around 1 cal/gram or less.
1200 calories is ~5 pounds of veggies, lean meat, rice, etc. I guarantee you will not be hungry if you eat like that.0
