FIBER

I need to get more fiber in my diet. Can anyone recommend a good supplement? I don't always get enough in with my foods.

  • Dr Natura's Colonix or Unifiber. You can get it cheaper from Amazon. The stuff is all-natural. I've used both and love their products.
  • how much fiber do we need a day? I have heard different answers..just curious what everyone else thinks...I believe middle-aged women probably need more...thusly, the Jamie Lee Curtis Activia commercials...but wondering what other women in their forties think seem to be a good number as far as grams per day.

    At least 25g per day.

    Instead of supplements, I would just add in some fresh fruits and veggies. They are great sources of fiber, and lots of vitamins and antioxidants to boot!

    Doesn't this site suggest how much fiber you need based on your goals? My suggested intake is 14 grams per day based off of my fitness goals. I get my fiber from foods as well as natural supplements, too.
