Minor NSV

So I’m stretching a little at my desk today and notice that the arm bands on my shirt are getting snug. It’s nice to see my body transformation is netting results. I really don’t want to lose weight, as I would really like to be a lean 210-225lbs guy. I’m 6’ tall, so that is a pretty significant amount of mass I will have to put on. I’m at 23.5% body fat (measured last week).
I started lifting about 5 days a week. 2 days of lifting then an off day which usually has cardio or HIIT. I’m following the Lee Labrada Leanbody program from Bodybuilding.com

Stretching at your desk? More likely flexing in the webcam.
But seriously, great job!0 -
What do you mean minor! THAT IS MAJOR!!!
Celebrate!!! You are awesome! If this were a "what's the most attractive thing about the person above" I would have said....I am sure he has nice eyes...but who can see past those guns! :bigsmile:0 -
This may be a stupid question, but........what's NSV?
I really don't know and I have seen it on several threads.
Awesome progress by the way!0 -
Non Scale Victory. I had to ask, too.
Awesome job!! Loving the gun show!0 -

This is the very reason I have added measurements to track progress. I've only lost a couple of pounds since the first time I measured, but there are an inch gone from both my waist and hips! Hooray for NSVs!0

Agreed, a NSV is a NSV... no minor about it at all!0 -

I've said it quite often on here...Ignore the scale for most intents and purposes anyhow. For my goals, I don't care at all about the scales. I want to be lean...sub 14% body fat...I want to be muscular....my estimation based on friends and their size/build, I think I would be happy around 220. I think it will take a while to get there, but I know I will at some point. And maybe it will be 200, maybe it will end up being 230....I have no idea, nor do I care. Whatever weight I end up at, I know I WILL be lean and mean  As it will likely be a function of what I'm into....I'm thinking if I end up doing crossfit, I may not be able to bulk up as much, but I would love to have the endurance required to get thru some of the routines I've seen. I’m going to look into it more, but it really has me interested, it looks fun, and I love the group dynamic it has. I love lifting, but I’m pretty social, so I think I would really enjoy pushing others and having them push me in that group setting.
Thanks for the kind words! And if any of you are looking for a great guided workout plan, I highly recommend the Leanbody program I'm on. It gives you recipes, meal plans, your daily workout regimine is alraedy planned.
