  • I think it depends on how you feel about it.

Some people may log their water intake by the actual cups of WATER they drank.

Personally, I log my water intake by any drink I drink that has water as the number 1 ingrediant.

So to me, crystal light countes

It is a liquid, so i would say it counts and log it. A lot of those 'fake sugars' aren't really good for you though. I was drinking the Wal mart brand sugar free drinks and found out it gives me headaches and stalled my losing weight. Good luck!

I've always counted it. I use one packet for a 24 oz bottle of water. It's hard to get my water in throughout the day without it being flavored.

Thanks for all the feedback! I have a tough time getting all my water without some flavor ... I do dilute it a little more than the directions and I think I'll try to wean myself off of it all together!

As I learned in my food chemistry classes, there's no reason why fake sugars should stall weight loss. They are perfectly fine for the body, although some people are sensitive to them and will get headaches. If you feel fine after drinking Crystal Light, go for it! It's a tasty way to hydrate yourself :)
