ok so i have a body media fit (bodybugg) and use my fitness pal. Heres my issues. So i was pretty sure my trainer and i talked about me consuming 1400 calories. and he signed into my bodymedia fit and set everything up to the settings he wanted. So i track my food in mfp because bodymedia is a joke for that, my fitness pal obviously wants me to be eating my calories back, so i text my trainer today and he said, just go off what your bodymedia tells you... so i sign in to see what he set it to, and it says 2800... im so confused because he told me to eat 1400 cals... what are your thoughts? I am 26, weigh 237, size 16/18, i think my bodyfat is like 35% i would love to be 130, and 16% body fat ( hopefully in 2 years or less) i go to the gym 6 days a week and burn a minimum of 500cals during cardio and then will start lifting weights as well..

is it perhaps saying you use 2800 calories a day from what it measures, and he's advising you to eat 1400 ??
You may be over 50 % fat now if you aim to get to 130 / 16% and retain your current lean mass.
84% of 130 = 109.2
50% of 236 = 118
etc
At 237 you can eat 1400 as there's plenty in reserve to provide the difference for a few weeks at least.0
