Hey everyone. I've been reading a lot about how acidic meat is to your body. Unfortunately I am a meat LOVER. Sooooooo....I'm trying to definitely cut down. The first thing I'm taking off of the table is pork...any and all pork products. I suppose also, pork is biblically dirty...from what I've read. I really like fruits and veggies, so it's not a problem getting those in. Looking for a lot of support for my weight loss journey. I"m an ER nurse and I feel like a horrible role model.

I love meat too! And it's hard to eat differently living with a husband and two boys with metabolisms that reach the clouds. Pork was something I 'minimized' a long time ago. I will eat it but not often. It's probably been about 2mths since I last had pork. I can't forever take it off the table lol. I never fry anything, We eat more turkey, chicken, and fish but to cut out anything all together won't happen for me lol...I won't even try to do that. :happy:0
