Are gaining and losing weight all based on calories? Or can you

True weight is calories in vs calories out.
I gained 1.6 lbs from yesterday morning to this morning because I had WAYYYY too much sodium. So I'm retaining water. Did I gain a pound of fat back from eating chicken? No.
That's the problem with solely relying on scales. It doesn't (accurately) tell you how much of your weight is lean body mass, fat, water, or food in your stomach.0 -
