Hi there I am currently on i think 1650 calories a day. Why does when I enter my exercise caolories does it add to the total of daily calories left for the day.

because the 1650 is for days when you don't do exercise, if you then do 200 calories of exercise it suggests you eat 200 more, this keeps you at the original weight loss setting for 1650 in lbs/week0

Yep exactly! MFP is set up to help you lose weight without extra exercise so if you do add some exercise (more than is in your activity level you set) you can eat more sand still have the same deficit. However, when you get closer to your goal you almost have to eat them all back so that you're not under your BMR all the time. If you're not going under your BMR consistently you can skip eating them back for an extra deficit.0
