Well you want to minimize sodium. If you want to increase magnesium and potassium (aka your electrolytes) then you can get that from the two links below.

I had read about sodium deficiency in vegan diet for athletes mind you but I remember the best suggestion was to be a bit more liberal with the salt shaker!
As far as potassium try to include/replace veggies/fruits with some that have a higher percentage of potassium: potatoes, raisins, dried prunes, dried abricots, lima beans.
Better to still try to get it from your foods than trying to add supplements.0 -

spinach, broccoli, and bananas have good amounts of potassium.... and if you need sodium just add more seasonings or salt to your meals.0 -
Thanks so much! Very helpful!0

Are you saying that you are getting too little sodium? Unless you are doing a lot of work that makes you sweat, many nutrition experts say 500 grams is more than enough. And, as for potassium: many entries in the MFP food database omit potassium information, so you may be getting more than you know.

It might be that my body is weird, but I have issues with electrolyte balance, even when, based on my intake, I should be fine. Obviously food is the best source of electrolytes, and people have made a lot of good suggestions, but if the OP is still having problems I'd recommend some sort of replacement. Personally I really like Nuun tablets.0 -
