Ok, first off - I wasn't trying to starve myself. When I started with MFP I didn't know much about nutrition so I didn't know 1400 was low / too low for my height / weight / sex ( 184cm / 77.3kg / M ) and there was no warning or notification that 1400 was or may have been too low.
I've been on my new regime for 2 1/2 months and the reason for it is to eat healthy and loose the extra pounds I have, this is a life change not a crash diet etc.
I want to increase my intake to a mild deficit of around 1800 ( if you think this is still too low, I don't really need to hear about it as I'm going to a nutritionist in the next couple of weeks) and I just wanted to know if I should do it gradually i.e +100cal a week, or if I can just increase up to it within a week or just go for it tomorrow.
no need to ask questions about my eating habits or micronutrients, but if you want to see, you can find them here:

I am increasing June because I am since close to my goal but have been tired, moody, etc. I asked mfp what my MAINTENANCE calories should be (30 yo female, 140 lb) and it pur me at 1800. So I will probably aim for 1600.0

First of all, 1800 is fine for someone your weight. It's still a deficit, but not an overly drastic one.
I'd recommend going slow with the calorie increase. Since you've been so low for so long, your body might be tempted to store some fat if you all the sudden start eating 35% more than you were before.
Best of luck!0 -
I would increase 100-150 weekly.0

I did not up in increments. Curious to see if I gain.0
