Why I love MFP and tracking

Today was a crazy day without much of a dinner planned...husband working ate, daughter out to dinner with a friend. I decided to take my son to a local hot dog place he loves for dinner. Pre MFP I would assume this was cheating and just not be concerned and eat whatever I wanted. With MFP I put in what I though I'd eat and realized I could stay on track even with having a ht dog and fries! I had enough for 2 hot dogs but decided on one when my son asked if we could go to the frozen yogurt place next door!
So "on a diet" (cringe) I was able to have a junky dinner, frozen yogurt sundae and still be within my calorie goal fr the day!
Woohoo!!!

I love it when I plug my food in at the end of the day thinking that I have gone way over and I actually am under goal. Unfortunately, today was not one of those days, but I didn't go too far over.0
