Is it okay to eat more protein than recommended?

Almost everyday my protein intake is higher than the recommended amount. Is that okay? I know protein is great for you, but I'm not sure if it's okay to eat too much of it. Does this mean I will build more muscle? I also noticed that I usually eat more fiber than recommended. What about that?

they are both fine to go over in consumption... just dont go over your ideal caloric amount.

Protein and fiber is perfectly fine to go over! You'll feel more full and less hungry (generally). Fiber helps your digestion .. protein builds muscle .. and the more muscle .. the higher your metabolism (no need to be mega body builder) . .. but be sure to take your measurements.. inches vs weight .. less inches and a little more weight is great news!

I would think so, as long as you stay within your calories.

Heh...I had to go into the MFP settings and swap my protein and carb macro percentages around. That **** was unacceptable at 15% protein, 55% carbs and 30% fat. Obviously now it's 55/15/30.

Tinkering with your macros until you find exactly what works for you is always a good idea.

TL;DR: yes, so long as you stay within your calories.
