So usually my main thing everytime I try to lose weight is drinking pop (or soda) especially Mt Dew. I just realized the last time I've had a regular pop (or soda) was the 1st. I've had a 1 1/2 20 oz diet Dr Pepper but the last time I even had one of those was about a week ago. =) I really don't have a craving for them anymore and I feel so much better. I get to sleep at a decent time and wake up (most days) feeling refreshed. Just thought I'd share that with ya'll.

  • Breaking the soda habit is hard! I went cold turkey before, and it was difficult. Can't wait to get to a point where I don't need it.

    It definitely is hard! Try drinking crystal light energy (they have a few different flavors). It helped me A LOT!!! I was drinking a lot of soda before I could easily go through a 2 liter a day. :embarassed: Now it's just water for me and some V8 juice for a bedtime snack.

    Congratulations! I gave up soda for the most part a few years ago. I still have them occasionally but try to limit it. Sometimes I just need a pepsi :) Keep up the great work. Maybe once you kick your habit you will be able to have them on occasion without going back to drinking them all the time.
  • I don't like tea. I've been drinking Rockstar Sugar Free energy drinks...20 calories, 0 carbs, 0 sugar, 0 fat. It gives me caffeine for now.

    It's not tea. I have two of the flavors grape and wild strawberry (my fave)
