MFP says 1240 calories...and another site says

1500 for extreme weight loss. Which one should I follow? Also my nutrionist said I should eat more than 1240. Should I split the difference.

Well you can always start out with the higher number for a couple of weeks and see how you do. If you don't get the results your looking for then adjust the number.

MFP gives you "credit" for exercise which increases your daily calorie goal, which would account for the difference in calories. 1240 plus about a half hour exercise a day for about 200-300 calories ends up being about the same amount.

I did best at 1350-1500 PLUS exercise calories, for a total of 1800-2000 calories most days.
