I want to go to my spin class tonight but i feel like im missing out on not being able to go out to eat with my parents. but the thing is my parent go out to eat every night at 6pm. my mom is overweight as well and eats unhealthy when we go out and when i go out with them they tell me i cant eat much cause im on a diet! The thing is since I'm
moved in with my fiance i like hanging out with them when i can. so the question is how do u break a bad eating habit with a good habit like spin class? I only get to spin 2x a week! Please i just need an extra push!!

Well if spin class is only twice a week, then go! And go out with them on your off days. Also, since they make rather snide comments, go into it prepared to hear those things. Then let it be your reason to keep dieting and working out. No offense, but it sounds like they aren't the best motivational support, and they set the example of what not to be like. Maybe you could be their inspiration for change.1

Maybe you should spend time with your parents outside of a restaurant. Make an effort to do something different, maybe even slightly active.
Also, maybe have a conversation with them. Going out to eat EVERY day has to have some serious health consequences.0 -
Make eating with your parents a once a week treat and use the rest of the days to reward your good habits with beautiful food that you learn to create for you and your fiance at home0

Get yourself a MFP fitness buddy, and tell your parents you and your buddy have a team goal and you don't want to let each other down. Team goal: Add up the weight of the two of you together. Together, each week stay the same or lose up to 5 pounds. Do this for 6 weeks. Having a "buddy" family will be more respectful. That is just the way it is.0
