Best Warmups?

Hey guys, I just wanted to know if anyone had any really good cardio warmups. I'll be completely honest here: I'm pretty overweight, but even with that factored in, my body does NOT like to warm up within a reasonable time frame. For instance! I've been doing Jillian Michaels' Shed and Shred. That's not really a problem for me, but her warmup... doesn't. Like, three minutes to five of bouncing and arm flailing really hard, honestly just makes me sore and tired. I often get cold hands, and when I work out, the test of whether or not I am warmed up, is if my hands are nice and warm. The warmup on Shed and Shred NEVER makes this happen, in spite of the fact that it's raising my heart rate. Hands are always still freezing at the end, and everything in my lower body feels angry and stiff at me. It's like my legs are saying, "Jumping rope from a cold state? Are you SERIOUS, woman?"
But if I do 30 minutes of very low impact cardio before that point, the warmup, and indeed, sometimes the whole video, are a cake-walk. Some days I don't feel like doing half an hour of exercise so I can get the most out of another hour of exercise. I was just doing that during the time span when I couldn't keep up with the whole video, so it was only totaling an hour.
So I would appreciate, if anyone knows good warmups, that really do, well, warm you up. Preferably one that isn't half an hour long. I would say I'm willing to dedicate ten minutes to warmup if I have to, but not more than that.

Insanity's warm-up is between 5-10 minutes long. I started doing the 30 Day Shred and a month later, built up the courage to do Insanity. The one thing Shaun T says, is go at your own pace but push yourself...you don't have to keep up with the people on the video. You also might want to check your shoes too, if you're lower body is aching. You can also put on some music and dance crazy for 30 minutes and then start the 30 Day Shred to help warm up your body.0

Nah, it's not my shoes, because if I am warmed up, and FEEL warmed up, I can do those jump rope "warmups" on the Shed and Shred video, twice as high, and it doesn't hurt at all. Whereas if I just start out, having been doing nothing, and start bouncing even a little, it hurts like a ***** afterward.0
