I have never counted gum, but then I only have a piece or two at most a day so I figure that is 10-15 cals max.

Diet coke technically has 4 calories in it. Random bit, but most people don't count the calories for it.

Count them. All those little calories add up over time. Plus with MPF people tend to under-log their calories and over-log exercise, so your actual deficit is probably smaller than MFP says it is.... So you really don't want to make a habit of omitting calories that you know you consumed. Your body doesn't say "Oh it's just gum, I'm going to ignore these calories." Calories are calories, even in small amounts. You're only cheating yourself in the end. Good luck!
