My new go to breakfast

Protein shake with either steel cut oats or, if I don't have time to cook those, Hodgson Miill Multigrain Hot Cereal. Usually blend some mix of frozen bananas, strawberries, or blueberries iinto the smoothie. About 400 to 500 calories, low in fat and sugar, high in fiber, and protein. Keeps me going much longer than cold cereal or toast with peanut butter. Not as high in cholesterol as eggs.

that's what I eat soemtimes too! :) For some reason hot cereal keep me fuller for a lot longer than cold cereal too
  • Higher iin fiber, lower in sugar. Many cold cereals are packed with sugar. And, hot cereal has more water, so the volume of the food is higher per calorie. Adding the protein shake really keeps me going till noon.

I make refrigerator oatmeal with oats, greek yogurt, milk, berries and sometimes iso protein.
Quite filling and you can keep it a couple days in the fridge if you want.
