Bad Bad week

I was doing so good! Then on Tuesday I got a visit from my monthly friend. That is where it all fell apart. I didn't feel like excercising, I felt like crap and was irritable. Although I didn't eat terribly I didn't keep track at all and just ate whenever/whatever. I didn't plan out my meals or anything.
I don't feel terrible about it but I don't want this to be an every month thing. How can I make sure that I am not overly exhausted and feel like crap around that time of the month? I want to stick with my excercise routine and keep up with my meals but ever since I had my daughter I have had a lot of issues with my period. I am tired to the point of exhaustion and am very achy all over.
Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do to help stay on track?

Well, as mine is about to come up and I'm starting to feel the cramping (also got worse after the birth of my last child), I was wondering the same thing. Right now, as I'm typing, I'm trying to talk myself into the gym instead of going to bed for a nap. I know I'll feel better if I go, it's just getting the energy to go.
My plan, fill my house with LOTS of fruits and vegetables and bottle water on hand EVERYWHERE. When I get that yucky feeling and exhaustion, drink and eat what I have planned. When it comes to exercising, I usually do about 1.5 hours a day. So I tell myself, okay, just go to the gym for 30 minutes, and then you can quit. Most of the time I end up staying at least for an hour, but either way, 30 minutes is better than nothing.
I hope you feel better soon. The great thing was that even when you weren't logging in, you were still conscious of what you were eating and made better choices than you probably would have before this healthy journey. That's something amazing!0
