sugar making me sick?

So I've been calorie counting a bit, but mostly focusing on exercise to lose weight ( I don't have that much to lose.)

So I haven't been eating much differently than normal. But over the last few weeks, every time I've had sugar, I get REALLY sick. Like headachey and nauseous and weak for hours. Doesn't take much either, maybe one (small, homemade) muffin.

So for the first time in my life, I don't crave sugar at all, in fact I'm afraid of it . I know sugar is awful for you, so I suppose that's good, but my newly-violent reaction to it is making me nervous all the same.

Any ideas on why this could be happening?

Sugar isn't really terrible for you...it's only when you eat copious amounts of it.

If your body is having that extreme of a reaction though, that's not so great. Sounds like some type of insulin resistance/ reactive hypoglycemia thing, and should probably be looked at by a Dr.
