Hi all! I am new to MFP. I am excited to start using the site. After logging today's food, I see why I am in need of such a site
I work out anywhere between 4-6 days per week for a minimum of 60 minutes. I do cardio 3 times a week and strength training all 4-6 days. I started in the gym at 20 lbs. over my goal weight; I have been working out for 5 months and lost 1 shirt size and pant size but have gone up 10-15 lbs. I now have 35 lbs. to lose and I need to learn to control my eating habits. I have hypo-thyroid and high cholesterol along with a family history of heart disease, so it's important that I make myself do this!
I don't want any quick fixes. I want to do this by making LIFESTYLE changes. I've had a past with both bulimia and anorexia and I do not want to go back there. I want to learn to eat the food I love in moderation and to control myself.
