thought i'd post this as i'm sitting here craving chocolate and its pouring rain outside I think... mmmm.. hot cocoa.... but I've given up chemicals (pesticides, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavoring and colors, etc.) for new years. I go to my cupboard and find hersheys unsweetened baking chocolate powder, stevia, cinnamon, and organic soy milk. bingo!! Rolls in around 60 cals (more if you add more milk) and very few and sugar. yay for chocolate! different from what we're used to but not bad at all!

that is great isn't it? I haven't used Stevia, but I have used Blue Agave, and that was awesome!

Great idea! I'm all for giving up putting things into my body that I cannot pronounce! ....I'll have to try that one some time.

I've been making my own hot cocoa for years! It's the best!!!

I use the *recipe* on the side of the Hershey's cocoa powder box. But I use 2 T. cocoa powder (20 cals), 1 packet of Stevia, dash of salt, and skim milk. The trick is to add the dry ingredients first and then SLOWLY add in the milk, stirring to a paste and then adding more milk. Microwave for a minute, stir well, and then another 30 sec. Stir again and another 20 sec. Add a dash of vanilla and cinnamon. YUMMY!!!

You know how Silk has that chocolate tofu? Well, do you think if you melted the chocolate cube (the 1oz ones), then added it to silken tofu, it would taste the same but with less calories (and probably other things)
