caloric goals for training and non-training days

Hello all!

I'm new to myfitnesspal and leangains (although I have been a fitness enthusiast for many years.) I have joined myfitnesspal to track calories according to the leangains method but have a question:

Is there any way to set the myfitnesspal caloric goals so they are staggered for training and non training days?

I am doing +20%kCal and -20%kCal rule for T-Days and R-Days respectively but the site seems like it can only do one baseline. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Jamison

Good question! I have been looking for something like this as well. This would be a highly useful feature to add!

Set your MFP goal to the rest day level (under Goals and settings) and create an exercise with the additional calories you need on your training days - you can create individual cardio exercise.

    Hi and welcome!

MFP's calorie recommendations do not account for any exercise you do - the activity level you set is based on non-exercise activity levels. When you record any exercise, MFP adds the extra to your daily goal. So why not set your calorie intake as a standard rest day and add a custom exercise that equates to 40% above that to add on training days?
