I started my diet on the 1st of jan, I have not weighed myself yet, because i dont want to be disappointed if i didnt lose as much as i hoped for. Is this a good idea? or should i just get it over with?

if you have been true to yourself then go ahead and jump on those scales. I too started at the beginning of the year and even though i have only lost 1-2 pounds it is starting to come off. so go for it !!0

Weigh yourself in to get an idea of where you are. You have to understand that there will be times during this journey that the scale doesn't say what you want but as long as you keep trying and keep pushing yourself you WILL reach your goal. You've already made the decision to start which is hard. Good luck.0
