I did it... I accomplished my first 5k. It was in the rain and 45 degree F weather. I did it in about 45 minutes which I am rather happy with. It feels so good to have done this. A year ago I wouldn't have been about to do this.

    My first 5k was cold and rainy too. What a fantastic accomplishment for you. Doing a few 5k's a year, if you enjoy them (or at least enjoy having finished them) can be a great way to stay motivated. Congratulations!

    Mine was today too! 37:20 and #60 out of 62, but I finished!! Yay us!

    AWESOME & CONGRATS!!! Looking good!! I do my 1st 5k on Oct. 27,2012 (for Cancer) so I'm really excited; and looking forward to finding more to be involved in...walking/running is one of the best stress relievers. Great Job!!!
