Pain in thigh - advice

I believe this happened at the pool yesterday (aquajog), or in the first 15 minutes of re-enactment training (sword/axe/dane fighting) today.

After my 4th fight today, I noticed a bad pain in my upper right thigh. It felt a bit like a cramp but only in an area about the diameter of the top of a drinks can, on the top of my thigh. It hurts if I bend or straighten the leg, but not if I put weight on it, and brings tears to my eyes. I first noticed the pain after breaking into a run for one fight. I took 2 paracetamol, and the pain went away, and then a few hours later took 2 ibroprufen, same result, and kept training. However, the pain and tenseness has now come back.

I take Sundays off, so I'll rest tomorrow, don't worry. But what can I do for the pain, and is this likely to be something I need to see a doctor about or just a temporary ache?
