The thought has been on my mind because of the lack of it! I'm curious to know, what do you consider romantic?

I think being considerate is a great start - being attentive. Thinking as to what the other person would like and how they'd like to be treated.0

Attentive for sure. I like t be fawned over and made to feel like what I have to say is interesting, etc. I also like gestures - opening car doors, umbrella holding, opening doors, etc. Hell, open my straw wrapper for me and I'm yours.0

Make it personal and unique. Sure, flowers and chocolates, but that's too obvious. If your know their absolute favourite treats and absolute favourite particular flower, then OK. But it could be a fish finger sandwich, and surprise picnic at work, some soil from a special place in a little box. Something that shows that the other perosn has really listened to you and knows what's important to you.0

Pretty much just putting someone else's needs ahead of your own. Making an effort to do something you normally wouldn't, that you know your signifigant other enjoys.0

Romance is relative, it depends on the person you're with, being attentive to their wants and desires, keeping their mind and heart racing on what's coming next, putting your own feelings aside for the moment because you're number one priority is making them happy and making sure they understand how much you care...0

1. One red rose
or
2. Asking your girlfriend if her mother would like to cry at your wedding
or
3. Booking a hotel room with a 4 poster bed with a vase of flowers and a bottle of champagne on ice in the room when you arrive, dinner for two
stuff like that0 -

The most romantic things a guy ever did for me was give me a small potted azalea plant with packs of JuicyFruit gum tied all over it. I was a little puzzled for a moment--then he said that on our first date I had mentioned that as a child I had begged my dad to plant a JuicyFruit tree (they had a commercial at the time which featured one, or at least to my tiny 3 year old brain it did).
Not only was he paying attention to something random I had said and remembered it, but he wanted to make that unfulfilled wish come true for me. That's what I consider romantic!0 -
Foreplay? Drunken decorations of affection?0
