Get yourself a lot of veggies to munch on... Salads with grilled chicken.... Fruits are fabulous too... You can munch on fruits and veggies all day long and you'll be pretty low on the calorie front.

lol, I can feel the stress dripping off of your post!

I injured my knees doing too much too fast, so I know the feeling! I wouldn't make it at 1200 calories, so I stuck with 1300-1400, and was as active as a person with a bum knee could be. I even borrowed a wheelchair and went for 'walks' (crazy arm, chest and back workout there, by the way)

Just stay focused, eye on the prize, and all that jazz :) You'll be back at it before you know it, and be careful, take it slow next time

Plug your #'s into scoobysworkshop.com use the least active setting & lowest calorie deficit. I didn't have your weight so I couldn't run your #'s but once you do it will give you an amount of calories to maintain weight. I would use that # and see how things go.

That sounds like an awesome idea, and if not that, what about weights?

I feel your pain lol. My injured knee is healing soooo slowly and it is driving me insane! I eat less when I am able to do cardio and therefore lose weight. I find just sitting here I am eating way too much and feel blah! I am just starting walking....slowly and not too far. I don't know what to offer you. I am going to try weights, and doing more core exercises (which I absolutely need to do anyways) along with walking.

HI, The best thing you could do is to keep your caloric intake safe and low. Maybe work on your core/upper body.
Good luck to you. Take it slowly next time.

   :flowerforyou:

You are one of the most sweetest and coolest people on earth, period. I HATE that you are experiencing this--hate it! :brokenheart:

You are LOVED...I love you too, Ma!

However...we KNOW certain things, for sure, don't we girlfriend?????? We KNOW that ALL things work together for GOOD to those that love God and are called according to HIS Will and purposes. Of course that means that even though we don't know, understand or even agree with what the H.E. double toothpicks is going on and why...we can REST in PEACE (his Peace, which passes ALL understanding, not our poor little flaky peace). Anyhoo....here's some things to "chew on" and good ole "snack" for your spirit, mind and soul:

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.” ~ Solomon, King of Israel; Proverbs 12:25

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” ~ Jesus of Nazareth; John 10:27-30

“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.” ~ Paul of Tarsus; Romans 8:16-17

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” ~James, the brother of Jesus Christ; James 1:12

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” ~ Simon Peter; 1 Peter 5:6-8
