does 1 cup of dry quinoa equal 2 when cooked?

I just googled this and it said it increases in size by 4. LOL So if I cook 1 cup dry it is 4 cups cooked. Does this sound right?0

I was going to say 3 times. Definitely more than 2.0

When I cook it I put 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of quinoa, so it's probably between 2 and 3, assuming some comes off as steam.0
