Bedtime Stress

A good portion of the night I am concerned about my weigh, how I look and I like to look at videos and try to get ideas. It sucks because the majority of the day I am generally full of energy and happy but when I go to bed I get stressed out. Does anyone deal with this or something like it and found a way around it. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Just make your best effort every day to try to change what you don't like about yourself. That's really all you can do, just take it one day at a time and try to be satisfied with it. You can't change everything overnight, but with consistency, you can change your body and your life. Good luck!0

Know that you can control your thoughts. And that your thoughts control your emotions. If you find yourself thinking negative things, try to replace the negative self talk and worries with positive thoughts. Some people will wear an elastic band on their wrist to snap if they have a negative thought. Talk back to those negative thoughts! The book where I learned to do this is called Feeling Good. It is actually a book for treating depression, but can be useful even if you don't have depression.0
