I did it this morning in the pouring rain and thunder and lighting, very exciting and luckily not cold or hot. I jogged and walked and took 43 min 50 sec. I'm not fast but I'm glad i did it and glad when it was over. I mapped it on mapmyrun to log it on there and it says it was longer than 3.1. It says it was 3.25 miles. Does anyone else use it and have problems with it being accurate?

usually official race distances are marked that if you take every inside corner at the right time it should work out to the distance of the race (5k, 10k etc)
meaning most often than not you will always run a little more than the official race distance.
don't worry about it, it's not that much.0 -
ok, that makes sense. I appreciate it saying i'm under a 14 min mile though. Thanx0
