Hello,

I've recently been addicted to Togo's Asian Chicken Salad Wrap. How unhealthy is it? Here are the nutrition facts...

I usually get it with only 1/2 the dressing and no onions (can't stand the taste of onions).

It appears to be high in sodium and carbs. I'm not sure of the ingredients list - but if there are things in it like wonton crisps or noodles, ask for it to be made with out them. That will def drop the carbs. Or try the salad option, that will lower the overall calories and fat, and increase the protein. And may be a better choice.
  • Yea, that's what i was afraid of, haha. I love those wraps! I'll try just the salad next time

    Here are the ingredients...

Chicken, Carrots, Cabbage, Green Onion, Parsley, Crisp Wonton Sesame Seed, Lettuce, and Dressing

Wrap options are either what or spinach

I think halving the dressing and taking out the wonton strips will reduce the sodium. Also, the whole wheat appears to have slightly less cals, carbs and more protein than the spinach. Hope that helps!

Maybe get it as a salad instead of a wrap? It'll helps cals and carbs use maybe a low carb tortilla on the side to wrap part of it up. But honestly if you fit in your macros dont worry about it

Your title reminded me of Margaret Cho's stand up scene about asian chicken salad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnnvRjwSCPo

    That is all.
