Here is my recipe for breakfast on the go:
1 scoop natural Whey Protein Isolate
1 cup of frozen berries
1 tbsp flax oil
1/4 cup of oatmeal0 -
That shake sounds really good and healthy, I might try it myself!0

1/2 cup whatever kind of liquid you want, I use unsweetened original almond milk, but there are a ton of different options based on your taste or calorie goals
1/2 cup 0% Vanilla Greek yogurt, again, a ton of choices based on your tastes. I use greek because its pretty much superior to regular yogurt in every way.
1/2 cup frozen fruit. This is where wal mart comes in super handy, I use great value frozen fruit, its cheap so you can buy a couple different kinds and mix and match at your own leisure.
Half a banana
A TBSP or two of hemp hearts, other people use flax or whatever else they can think of.
and then I fill the rest of my blender with spinach, which I assume works out to about half a cup packed, maybe more. I have a single serve hamilton beach blender. You could use kale or some other green leafy too.
You don't really need a recipe, just go on real food that tastes good, you shouldn't need to add sugar or anything, and I can never taste the spinach.
I don't use protein powder in mine, but it would just be one or two scoops, depending on what the serving size is.0 -
My favorite, (especially since I usually hate eating vegetables), is
1/2 cup skim milk
1 scoop vanilla protein
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
2 to 3 cups spinach. (or whatever will fit in your blender.)
1/2 frozen banana
Tastes like mint ice cream. If you freeze your spinach, or use a whole frozen banana, it will make it thick enough to eat like ice cream.0 -
8 oz Vanilla almond milk
2 scoops of Visalus
cup of ice
Half a packet of Starbucks V iced drink mix
Its tastes exactly like a Starbucks Blended mocha but is good for you YUM!0 -
1 cup water
1/2 cup frozen berries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup vanilla non-fat yogurt or vanilla kefir
stevia if desired
2-3 kale leaves or 2 handfuls of spinach
Hide your veggies in your smoothie!0 -

I usually have the protein powder with one piece of fruit, milk, almond milk and a bit of milo (for the extra iron) for breakfast.
Yummy!
