On average, how long is the gap between your meals before training?

I like having a slice of toast and PB 30-40 minutes before a workout so I have some sort of energy supply. A snack like that keeps me going through my workout without me feeling full and uncomfortable.0

If I'm doing something light like walking, then about an hour. If I'm going for a run, then at least two hours. If I'm lifting, then anything from an hour upwards.0

I don't eat within an hours of exercise0

I exercise in the morning after breakfast. I'm doing Slim Fast so I have my shake, wait an hour then do Zumba for 90 mins.
The shakes I find take the hunger away but don't leave me with that horrible 'full to bursting' feeling.
My rule is if it's uncomfortable, wait a little longer. So if I'd had a bigger meal, I may want to leave it 2 hours to settle. The minimum I wait is an hour though.0 -
At least an hour, but I prefer more like 2. I also frequently roll out of bed in the morning and exercise, with no issues at all. However, I have a friend who insists on eating within an hour of exercise, because she feels tired during if she doesn't... Definitely a "whatever works best for you" thing, I think.0

there is no danger or detriment to eating near the time you exercise or vice versa.
If you feel like exercising then you should.
Dont limit yourself based on some idea that you must wait a certain amount of time.
I prefer to exercise before I eat but thats just the way I like it.0 -
Start my workout after my cup of coffee and eat breakfast right after my wo0

I always workout before I eat. So, sometimes 12 hours or more.0

I have 4 young kids and I have to work out any given chance I get. Even if that means I eat and then run. Sometimes that means I workout first thing in the morning before breakfast. Most of the time, the only chance I have to work out is right after lunch. I feel like working out at any given opportunity for me is better than skipping a workout because it's too close to a meal. I may not always feel great during the work out, but that's life. It's better than being fat.0
