Hey people, Names Arran.
I suffer from depression and OCD and I tend to comfort eat.
I have been adding on weight and now I want to change my life style , I do go to the pub once a week so the cider doesn't help me either!!
I was just wondering if some people can add me as friends and I will support you if you support me
I did the half marathon last year in Birmingham and wrecked my knee in the process , so I can't jog anymore but I swim on the odd occasion but I would love to have some advice on other exercises I could do in my house? I don't think weightlifting really helps me lose calories so I get bored of it easy!
Thanks Again!!

Hi,
I can completely relate to the comfort eatting and the bad knees. You can do anything you set your mind to. You can add me if you'd like.0 -
Hey Arran,
although weightlifting might seem boring to you, it's very important to build muscles so you can lose weight efficiently
But you should combine it with cardio, of course.
You can try video workouts per example, those that include strength and cardio, such as Insanity.
I've had problems with my knees too (I guess that happens when a 130 kg person starts running), and my doctor suggested to take a break from running and to start cycling and swimming to strengthen my knee before going by to running. It worked! (At least for me)
Well, if you need someone to talk to, I'm here too. I got over my depression+comfort eating problems some time ago, so I would gladly support you.
All the best0
