Healthiest meal from this menu

My friends at work have arranged a Christmas meal and I have been given the menu. Can you help choose two clean meals, one from Antipasti and the other from Secondi. I was thinking:
Zuppa
Polla Cacciatora

Wow that all sounds really good. Healthy-ness wise it seems like you can't do too much damage for anything on the menu.

If it were me I'd do the zuppa and the Zucco. The pollo sounds good also. Enjoy!

Also, you are planning REALLY far ahead if this is for xmas haha
  • i'd go for the zuppa and then the pollo but the salad could also be ok...

It all looks healthy and made to order. So go with whatever sounds most appealing and fits into your calories and macros for the day.

I don't believe there was anything wrong with my response. I believe it's ok to induldge every once in a while.

You aren't wrong for that idea, but you didn't even remotely answer the OP's question. If he wanted to indulge, he wouldn't have bothered asking.

If I were in the situation of the this christmas party, i would get something I may not normally eat. It is a special occasion adn you can treat yourself. it doesn't mean you have to make it a "cheat" or not record or go over. Do planning to make it how you want it

I am guessing the ham will be lean and thinly sliced so my tuppence worth is:

Speck ham etc. followed by the Zucca (unless you fancy chicken)

unless you are vegie in which case your choice is

Zuppa followed by Zucca - don't forget to log your diary

zuppa and zucco is the CLEANEST eating on there - but the Chicken sounds really good - cals are lowest with the vegetarian entree... but low cal is not always healthiest...

If you dig meat, go with the pollo - if you are good without it - go Zucco (I LOVE meat and that Zucco still sounds AWESOME!)

Of course it's okay to treat yourself. But bearing in mind that it's a Christmas meal at a restaurant I need to be more careful than when I go to a restaurant or cafe on a regular day.
